Rooted from its humble beginning that started in 1920, Co Ban Kiat Hardware Inc., the giant hardware today is now celebrating 100 years of its founding anniversary.
The COVID19 pandemic did not stop the festive celebration in honoring the centennial anniversary of Co Ban Kiat Hardware. Digitally together, the management and employees commemorated the 100 Years founding anniversary with a series of heartwarming pieces and exciting activities in expression of gratitude in reaching the special milestone.
Johnny Cobankiat, President and the man behind the booming success of the hardware company shared appreciation message to all employees who have been with CBK Hardware from the lowest low up to the highest heights. He stressed out that CBK will not conquer the heights of being a 100 years old company without the relentless commitment of its employees. This statement was supported with the meaningful message of Mr. Jan Vincent Cobankiat, Executive Vice President who wished more deeper collaboration in different levels of manpower which is highly significant in attaining shared goals. Mr. Jan Wesley Cobankiat, the Vice President, also communicated the vision of the company in providing more years of world class solutions to all the employees which served as pilot force in making it possible.
CBKians have prepared a video dedicated to Cobankiat family and their legacy to express their appreciation to the management by unconditionally extending their support to everyone in this extra ordinary times. Selected CBKians sung in a recorded split screen video covering the song of “ The Greatest Love of All” which was the inspirational life song of Mr. Johnny Cobankiat.
Also, two batches of online raffle promo surprised many employees and lucky winners cheerfully received minor and major prizes.
At the latter part of the program, Co Ban Kiat Hardware's Vice President for Operations Sir Jackson Ong and Ms. Anna Soriaga, Vice President for Human and Financial Capital Management gave thanksgiving message and led the toast. All shared a toast of wine as a reflection on the success that lie ahead of the company.
The celebration started with a thanksgiving Mass at the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in the morning and on the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary Manaoag before lunchtime. Both online mass were broadcasted live via official Facebook Pages.
